The Force Awakens is the first film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, announced after The Walt Disney Company's acquisition of Lucasfilm in October 2012. The film is produced by Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams, and his long-time collaborator Bryan Burk. Abrams co-wrote the film with Lawrence Kasdan, who co-wrote the original trilogy films The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi. Abrams and Kasdan rewrote an initial script by Michael Arndt. John Williams, composer for the previous six films, returns to compose the score. Star Wars creator George Lucas served as creative consultant during the film's early production stages. The Force Awakens is produced by Lucasfilm and Abrams' Bad Robot Productions and will be distributed worldwide by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Filming began in April 2014 in Abu Dhabi and Iceland, with principal photography also taking place in Ireland and Pinewood Studios in England.

Plot

In 1850, innkeeper Thomas Nickerson receives a visit from author Herman Melville, who offers him money in return for an account of the Essex, of which Nickerson is the last living survivor. Nickerson initially refuses but relents after his wife intervenes.

Nearly 30 years earlier, in 1820, veteran whaler Owen Chase is hired as first officer aboard the recently refitted Essex. He is pleased to find that the second officer is his old friend Matthew Joy. The sequel was announced in May 2012, after the successful release of The Avengers. Whedon, the director of the first film, was brought back on board in August and a release date was set. By April 2013, Whedon had completed a draft of the script, and casting began in June with the re-signing of Downey. Second unit filming began in February 2014 in South Africa with principal photography taking place between March and August 2014. The film was primarily shot at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, England, with additional footage filmed in Italy, South Korea, Bangladesh, New York, and various locations around England.

Avengers: Age of Ultron premiered in Los Angeles on April 13, 2015, and was released on May 1, 2015 in North America, in 3D and IMAX 3D. Upon its release, the film received positive reviews and has grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide, making it the third-highest-grossing film of 2015 and the sixth-highest-grossing film of all time. Two sequels, Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War – Part 2, are scheduled to be released on May 4, 2018, and May 3, 2019, respectively.

Inside Out

Inside Out is a 2015 American 3D computer-animated comedy-drama film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Directed and co-written by Pete Docter, the film is set in the mind of a young girl, Riley Andersen (Kaitlyn Dias), where five personified emotions—Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), and Disgust (Mindy Kaling)—try to lead her through life as she moves with her parents (Diane Lane and Kyle MacLachlan) to a new city. The film was co-directed and co-written by Ronnie del Carmen and produced by Jonas Rivera, with music composed by Michael Giacchino.

Docter first began developing Inside Out in 2009 after noticing changes in his daughter's personality as she grew older. The film's producers consulted numerous psychologists, including Dacher Keltner from the University of California, Berkeley, who helped revise the story emphasizing the neuropsychological findings that human emotions are mirrored in interpersonal relationships and can be significantly moderated by them.

After premiering at the 68th Cannes Film Festival in May, Inside Out was released on June 19, 2015. It received universal critical acclaim, with many film critics praising the voice performances (particularly for Poehler, Smith, and Richard Kind), its concept, and poignant subject matter. The film grossed $90.4 million in its first weekend—the highest opening for an original title, beating Avatars previous record. It has grossed over $602 million worldwide against a budget of $175 million.

Despicable Me

Despicable Me is a 2010 American 3D computer-animated comedy film from Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment that was released on July 9, 2010 in the United States. It is Illumination Entertainment's first film. The film was animated by the French animation studio Mac Guff, which was later acquired by Illumination Entertainment. It was directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud, with story by Sergio Pablos. Aagadu (English: He Will Not Halt) is a 2014 Telugu action comedy film directed by Srinu Vaitla starring Mahesh Babu and Tamannaah in lead roles.

The film also features an ensemble cast of Sonu Sood as the primary antagonist while Shruti Haasan made a special appearance by performing an item number Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Brahmanandam and M. S. Narayana in key roles. The film was written by Anil Ravipudi, Upendra Madhav and Praveen Varma and K. V. Guhan was the cinematographer while S. Thaman composed the music.

The film was released worldwide on 19 September 2014. and received what the IB Times called "decent" reviews. It had the largest first day gross in the United States for a South Indian film, collecting over $1 million.

Jab We Met (English: When We Met) is a 2007 Indian romantic comedy-drama film directed and written by Imtiaz Ali. The film tells the story of a feisty Punjabi girl who is sent off track when she bumps into a depressed Mumbai businessman on an overnight train to Delhi. While attempting to get him back on board when he alights at a station stop, both are left stranded in the middle of nowhere. Having walked out of his corporate business after being dumped by his girlfriend, the man has no destination in mind, until the girl forces him to accompany her back home and then on to elope with her secret boyfriend.

Released in the U.K. a day before its worldwide release of 26 October 2007, the film became a hit at the Indian box office as well as overseas. The distributors of the film, Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd, announced that Jab We Met would be remade by corporate entity Moser Baer in four other Indian languages: Tamil (dubbed into Telugu), Kannada and Malayalam

Ek Tha Tiger (English: Once There was a Tiger) is a 2012 Indian action spy film, directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films. It stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, and features Ranvir Shorey, Girish Karnad, Roshan Seth and Gavie Chahal in supporting roles. The plot centers on an Indian spy (RAW) code-named Tiger who falls in love with a Pakistani spy (ISI) during an investigation and how Tiger's ideology and principles change over time.

Pre-production of Ek Tha Tiger started in the second half of 2010 after the script had been completed. Principal photography commenced on September 2011 and ended in June 2012. The film was shot in five countries. Initially scheduled for a release on June 2012, the film's release was delayed and it opened on 15 August 2012, coinciding with India's Independence Day was holiday which celebrates on 65th anniversary to the marked.

Chennai Express

Chennai Express is a 2013 Indian romantic comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty, and produced by Gauri Khan for Red Chillies Entertainment. The film features Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles; it is the second collaboration between Khan and Padukone after Om Shanti Om (2007). The film is about a man's journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram, and what happens along the way after he falls in love with the daughter of a local don. Principal photography began on 27 September 2012, filming began in October 2012 and was completed by May 2013.

Chennai Express was released in the overseas markets on 8 August 2013, and a day later in India. Extensive paid previews were held in India on 8 August as well. Although the film received mixed reviews from critics, it broke several box office records in India and abroad, becoming the quickest film to collect ?1 billion (US$16 million) net domestically.

The film surpassed 3 Idiots to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film worldwide; a record it held until it was surpassed by Dhoom 3 in December, 2013.

Baahubali: The Beginning, also presented as Bahubali: The Beginning (English: Exceedingly powerful) is a 2015 Indian bilingual epic historical fiction film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, it is the first of two cinematic parts. The film was simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil and dubbed into Hindi, Malayalam and French languages. Baahubali: The Beginning features an ensemble cast of Prabhas, Rana, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeep appear in supporting roles. Baahubali: The Beginning was released worldwide on 10 July 2015 to positive reviews from critics, and it recorded the highest-grossing opening for an Indian film at the box-office. As of 27 July 2015, it is the 3rd highest grossing Indian film of all time.

Baahubali: The Beginning is the most expensive production in the history of Indian cinema to date. The film was shot using Arri Alexa XT camera, marking Rajamouli's first film to use digital cameras; the principal photography began at Rock Gardens in Kurnool on 6 July 2013. Sabu Cyril was the production designer for the film, the soundtrack and background score for the film was composed by M. M. Keeravani, and V. Srinivas Mohan was the visual effects supervisor

Bodyguard

Bodyguard is a 2011 Indian action film directed by Siddique. It is a remake of the director's own

2010 Malayalam film of the same name starring Dileep and Nayantara. The film was produced by Atul Agnihotri and featured Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. It also stars Raj Babbar, Mahesh Manjrekar and Hazel Keech in supporting roles. The film's first look and theatrical trailer was unveiled on 21 July 2011. Bodyguard was released on tiwar 31 August 2011 across 2,250 screens in 70 Indian cities and with 482 prints across the overseas territory. Bodyguard was released in 3250 theatres worldwide.

The film broke many records upon its release. Within the first day of its release, it went on to become the highest opening day grosser as well as the biggest grosser ever for a single day up until then. The film set another box office record, netting ?1.01 billion (US$16 million) in its first week, thus becoming the highest opening week grossing Bollywood film. The film became a major commercial success with a worldwide gross of ?2.3 billion (US$36 million) and was declared a blockbuster by Box Office India. It is the highest grossing Bollywood film of 2011 and as of June 2015, the 14th highest grossing Bollywood film
